• Preventing saline intrusion caused by tides, sea-level rise, and storm surges, protecting 41,157 people with 10,728 hectares of land, of which 26,886 people with 4,810 hectares from District Road 16 to the coast;

• Combine the construction of a transportation route for rescue, disaster relief, and  national defense and security.

• Dike route: Length 31.58km; sill elevation +3.50m; width of dike deck slab B = 5.0m; Dike body structure by compacted earth fill dams.
• Sluice through dike: includes 10 sluices with open gate type made of reinforced concrete, water clearing width from 5.0÷20.0m; 09 box culverts with dimensions of 1.5×1.5m and 2.0×2.0m
• Automatic two-way valve gate made of stainless steel
• Traffic bridge with load capacity HL13-X60.
