Objective and Tasks of Works:

• Duc Hoa irrigation area (according to approved basic design)
• Irrigation for an area of 13,821 ha
• Irrigation canals: 02 canals of grade I; 33 canals of grade II; 88 canals of grade III and grade III branch canals.
• Total number of works on the canal: 920 works
• During the design process, some areas were converted to industrial use and some low-lying areas have been reduced, so the area of ​​Duc Hoa irrigation area has changed compared to the approved project, specifically:
• Natural area 16,585ha, irrigation area 12,049ha.
• The arrangement of the grade I, grade II, grade III canal system according to the design documents are as follows:
• Total number of irrigation canals: 122 canals with a total length of 201,099m, including:
• Total number of  grade I canals: 02 canals with a total length of 31,766m.
• Total number of grade II canals and cross-level canals: 39 canals with a total length of 74,445m.
• Total number of grade III canals, grade III branch canals: 81 canals with a total length of 94,888m.
• Total number of works on the canal: 453 works
• To ensure irrigation areas with an irrigation area of ​​≤ 100ha, it is necessary to add some more canals including:
• Branch canals: 37 canals with a length of about 35km
• Works on the canal: 37 sluicets at the beginning of the canal, 38 sluices across the road

Total investment amount/Construction cost: 735,287,254,000 VND  (2014 ( Viet Nam Government; Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Agence Francaise De Developpment (AFD))
