- Prevent riverbank erosion and protect infrastructure such as roads, piers, schools, and commune people’s committees to stabilize the lives of local residents in the embankment area and serve the local development plan.
- Create a landscape in the area and ensure waterway transportation.

Main technical specifications
Seawall:
- The seawall is made of M200 reinforced concrete. The crest of the wall is at an elevation of +2.50m, with a thickness of 20cm, and the bottom slab of the wall is at an elevation of +0.2m, with a thickness of 25cm (wall height H = 2.30m). The wall base is 1.50m wide and 25cm thick. The bottom slab of the wall is reinforced with reinforced concrete piles measuring 20x20cm, L=8m, driven in two staggered rows with a spacing of 1 pile/1m. (Every 10m long strip is arranged with 19 piles). The seawall is designed with a curved shape to limit the wall height. Behind the seawall is a 4m wide sidewalk for pedestrians paved with worm-shaped bricks at an elevation of +1.80m, and a drainage ditch is arranged.
Embankment roof:
- The breakwater roof is reinforced with M150 concrete blocks, 30cm thick, arranged in cells (M200 reinforced concrete frames), with a layer of geotextile underneath. Each cell has an average size of 3.10 x 2.50m, and the reinforced concrete frame has a size of 20 x 30 cm in size. The revetment slope is m = 3.
Embankment base
- The embankment base is made of reinforced concrete in the form of an inverted T-shaped M200. The width of the wing is Bc=80cm, with a thickness of 20-50cm. The web of the beam is 20cm thick and 30cm high. The elevation of the embankment base is -1.50m. The foundation treatment by Melaleuca piles Þ=8, L=5m, 5cm driven at a density of 20 piles/m². The exterior is reinforced with riprap to prevent counter-pressure. The riprap has a trapezoidal shape with b=2m, m = 1, bottom elevation -2.50m, and top elevation -1.50m.
Roadway:
- Road surface is 4.50m wide with sidewalk is 2×1.25m, paved with 30cm thick red gravel. The road elevation is +1.80m.. Along the route, Þ60 drainage pipes are arranged.
